This installment sees us looking at our development BMW M2 Competition in more detail - this is no ordinary M2 Comp. It’s been heavily tweaked by the legendary tuners at Litchfield, turning what is already a fantastic car into a track monster. It replaces our previous standard M2 development car.

The M2 Competition is often hailed as one of BMW’s finest M cars, featuring their S55 3.0 twin-turbo straight-six engine, pushing out 370hp in standard guise. Litchfield have brought that power up to 442hp at the wheels. Complementing this extra power, it has been fitted with a huge multitude of other upgrades - including an Alcon big brake kit, Eibach anti-roll bars, CSF DCT transmission cooler, Eventuri carbon intake, and Milltek catback exhaust. BC ZX-series 3-way adjustable coilovers ensure Inside, Recaro Pole ABE bucket seats have been fitted alongside a Pinnacle half-cage, harnesses and alcantara wheel to create a true track weapon. M-Performance bodywork (splitter, spoiler, diffuser and grilles) and Apex EC-7 alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s complete the car. 

The car has already seen track action with us at test days at Snetterton and Donington, and it will continue to be used extensively as the year progresses. Keep an eye out for it at test days - wrapped in our striking BC Racing livery, it looks every bit the track car it is.
